We were delighted to co-host the 2nd Joint Workshop on Data-Driven Turbulence Modeling from January 23–27, 2026, in Grainau, Germany. The workshop was co-organized by Prof. Heng Xiao (University of Stuttgart) and Prof. Solkeun Jee (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Korea), bringing together researchers across institutions and countries for a week of focused scientific exchange.
The program featured project presentations and research discussions on data-driven approaches to turbulence modeling, alongside joint activities such as hiking in the Bavarian Alps. We were also pleased to welcome invited participants Prof. Christopher Ellis (University of Nottingham), Prof. Hossein Gorji (EPFL, Zürich), and Prof. Philip Ströer (University of Twente). We look forward to the continued collaboration between our groups.
